Eye-catching black trunk as coffee table / side table. France, 19th century.
Materials: Leather, wood, canvas and brass
This trunk was all made in wood upholtered with black canvas. It has wooden bars, leather protections, studs and fittings in brass and a brown leather handle at the front part.
The wheels are a new addition to allow to use it as side or coffee table and to move it easily.
The interior is clean and ready to be used for storage purposes: covered with its original fabric that has been painted.
A nice addition as storage box, side or coffee table or to be used for decorative purposes at window dressings.
