Remnant of the Raj. This all leather British India Military Campaign Chest is a very rare survivor. Stamped "The Western India Army Boot
Equipment Factory, Solid Leather Guaranteed...Bombay". They were suppliers to the British Military stationed in the Subcontinent of boots, trunks, saddlery and harnesses. Minor wear visible on edges with age and use but overall a top notch piece and in excellent original condition. It is hard to find a large all leather trunk from this time period like this one so grab it will it lasts if your value old world craftsmanship or are looking for a dynamic piece to spice up your home.
