Valet chair from the 1960s combines practical clothing storage with sculptural Mid-Century design. White lacquered wood frame features spindle-style vertical slats forming an elegant backrest, integrated suit hanger, and trouser bar with brass hardware accents. Gray velvet upholstered seat provides comfortable seating. Frame construction showcases period craftsmanship with slender tapered legs and space-efficient form. Newer velvet upholstery complements the white lacquered finish and brass details. Functional design allows garments to be hung while maintaining a refined silhouette. Piece retains original white lacquered finish with visible patina and shows wear consistent with age and use. Gray velvet seat cushion is in excellent condition from recent reupholstering.
