Contemporary Wooden Hanger Unique Artistic Up-cycled by Curro Claret.
With the main motivation of encouraging people to make their own objects, “Hanging with T300” is born. Curro Claret has made a collection of hangers, a typology that he had not previously developed, in order to explore and expand the possible applications of the metal ‘connector’ T300 that he designed in 2010 to make it easier for people to create various items of furniture such as stools, benches, tables, or lamps by reusing wood. And as he was unsure of its viability, he preferred to first try it out himself, using materials (primarily wood) collected mainly from the street, to which he did minimal work or manipulation, using means and skills that are highly accessible to anyone.
Curro Claret (1968)
Curro studied industrial design at the Elisava School and in Central St. Martins in London. In 1998 he began his freelance work. Since then, he had worked in different projects of all kind. Alongside these years he has been working as a professor in Elisava and occasionally in other Spanish centers and in other countries as well. His work has been exhibited in various places and published in different media and has received various honors and awards.
