Cristal Art Wall Mounted Blue Glass Coat or Hat Rack, Turin Italy, circa 1950's A very rare and stunning grand scale wall-mounted coat rack by Cristal Art, the back plate glass in an electrifying blue color with hand-cut facets. With 5 brass hooks that are covered in thick crystal circular glass. The whole encased in an exquisite gilt-brass molding. There is a top glass shelf structure (not pictured) which can rest on top, secured from the back, not interrupting any of the design. This design model is a classic example of the high quality glass works for which Cristal Art is renowned. Cristal Art was an Italian plate glass manufacturing company established in 1944 in Turin, Italy by Giuseppe and Giovanni Donna. They specialized in the design and production of dramatic and elegant glass and crystal mirrors and furniture.
