About the Item
Originally from the cabin of a train, this French bronze hat and coat rack from the turn of the twentieth century features an upper shelf and five sliding hooks in the shape of shells. The brackets at the ends are detailed with scrolling and rosettes. Its smaller scale of only 30 inches in width makes this piece ideal for hanging robes in a bathroom or hats and coats in an entryway, circa 1900.
