The most striking detail is, of course, the series of meticulously hand-carved Gothic quatrefoil motifs on the back panel. The quatrefoil, an ancient symbol of good fortune, derived from the Latin for “four leaves”, has been celebrated across cultures and centuries for its beauty and symbolic power.
Equipped with four robust, forged iron double hooks, this coat rack offers ample space for coats, scarves, and other garments. The quality of both the woodwork and the ironwork is outstanding, making this not only a practical piece but also a true work of art.
