About the Item
a beautiful vintage Coat Rack Stand made in Italy between the 1950s and 1960s. Handcrafted in the mid-20th century using steam-bent bamboo canes, making a total of 8 hooks, the 4 upper hooks probably for holding hats and the lower ones for hats. jackets.
The upper diameter of this free stand Coat Rack is 33cm, counterbalanced by the wider base with a diameter of 59cm which allows for stability.
The beauty of this Vintage Free Stand Coat Rack is not only in the shape, which recalls the splendid articles produced by the leading company in the production of bamboo furniture Bonacina, but in the splendid color range made even richer by the patina of time.
The multi-cane structure is in a splendid dark brown, as in the coat hangers designed by Olaf von Bohr for Bonacina, with the same chromatic contrast created by the wheat-coloured rattan bindings.
The item is in original vintage condition, it has not undergone restorations or modifications. It shows minimal signs of use and aging.
