About the Item
This Mid Century Modern wall-mounted coat rack was produced by ULUV and designed by Jan Kalous in Czechoslovakia during the 1970s.
Featuring a sculptural oval silhouette, the rack combines beech plywood construction with solid oak pegs, framed by a handwoven wicker border that adds texture and warmth.
A rare and highly decorative example of Central European modernist craftsmanship, balancing utility with refined material contrast. Retains its original surface with gentle patina from age and use.
