About the Item
Questo mobile appendiabiti anni ‘50, disegnato da Eugenia Alberti Reggio, si presenta con una struttura semplice ma funzionale. È costituito da una griglia di listelli di legno orizzontali sui quali si possono muovere, far scorrere, sganciare e riagganciare i pratici appendiabiti in metallo verniciati neri. Quattro pannelli verticali in legno fungono da ante che si aprono con sistema a libro, sono dotati di due larghe maniglie in ottone.
Questo pezzo ha vinto il terzo premio ex aequo al concorso “La Rinascente Compasso d’Oro” nel 1955.
Si presenta in condizioni originali pertanto, necessita di qualche piccolo intervento di restauro per accomodare alcune sbeccature all'impiallacciatura esterna, oltre che una lucidatura.
Il mobile è munito di impianto elettrico per l'illuminazione al neon, con comando di accensione all'apertura dello stesso, ma si consiglia di ricablare il circuito.
