A Rare and Striking Bentwood Hallstand by Fischel, Circa 1900
The upper section, featuring turned finials, includes six large S-shaped hooks that provide ample storage for hats, coats, and scarves. Below, the central rectangular mirror with clean lines sits atop a bentwood rectangular base, with a useful shelf below. The beautifully styled lower section, of grand proportions, offers a storage area for walking sticks and umbrellas.
This rare, stylish, and functional antique retains its original Fischel label on the underside of its shelf and is in good condition, showing wear consistent with its age and use.
