Chic pair of streamlined, cast-iron valet stands, with wooden vide-poches. The iron has a lovely textured feel and retains its original, dark green paint finish. The use of cast-iron, as well as the four holes around the base to fix the pieces to the floor, suggest that these valets were originally intended for use on a ship.
