Rare and handsome Jacques Adnet attributed valet de nuit and seat with leather wrapped hand-stitched in Hermes saddle style and original tartan plaid wool upholstery.
Jacques Adnet attributed valet de nuit, probably La Compagnie des Arts,
Circa 1960 France.
Iron frame wrapped in black leather with contrast saddle-stitching and brass accents.
Leather and fabric is in very good condition.
Measures: 50.39 in. H x 18.9 in. W x 13.39 in. D.
Adnet is best known today for his sleek leather saddle-stitched wrapped furniture and object designs, a number of which resulted from a partnership with the Hermes firm.
