This valet chair is typical of the 1980s, a decade where there was a strong revival of a typologie of furniture that was assimilated too bourgeoisie and that disappeared with modernism: Mirrors, carpets, screens and of course valet chairs. This very rare particular example is playing with the form of a chair and is a stunning sculptural piece that is very practical with is drawer hidden in the seat of the chair. Perfect for a bedroom or an entrance this piece will bring a bit of radicality to a home.
