This is a bit of a unicorn in the world of coat stands, it’s a very classically English style however it was made in France, I've not seen one with Red Velour upholstery, it really gives it a nice edge over the thousands of other standard brass examples
In terms of the condition it is straight and solid, the brass has a nice patination and looks very artistic from all angles, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom
