About the Item
Napoleon III style mahogany and gilt ornate carved easel with adjustable height. The easel with a central back support crested with a gold acorn finial flanked by two gilt and regimentally carved columns. The platform with egg and dart trim over two bell flower drapes. The base of the easel in a trestle form and flanked by intricately carved dolphins with glass eyes.
Dimensions: 25" W overall, 22 3/4" W ledge, from top of ledge to below acorn finial 53" H, overall height is 82" H and 23 3/4" D at feet.
Condition: Pleas see detail photos. Various acceptable signs of age include some scratches to back of support due to back of paintings which does not detract from the exceptional presentation.
