About the Item

Circa 1900 hand-turned cherry coat and hat rack from France. The rack is made in the faux bamboo style, which has remained popular throughout time. The rack is made from cherry, which has been hand-turned to have the appearance of bamboo, which adds a really nice texture to an otherwise simple rack. The design is made from five hand turned "lollipops" which are curved upwards on which to hang hats or coats, and five lower hand turned pegs on which to hang other hangable items. The lower pegs can be folded upwards to store flat against the wall in the case that you need more room for whatever is hanging up top. Very useful!
