Spanish American War Commemorative Mirrored Hall Rack
USA, Circa 1900
An uncommon example of American historical memorabilia, This mirrored hall rack depicts a portrait of Admiral Dewey at the top. A portrait of Admiral Richmond Pearson Hobson is at the right side with a stylized eagle hook.
Centered with an eight-inch beveled diamond mirror. On the left side is a portrait of Rear Admiral William Sampson with a stylized eagle hook. The bottom part depicts portrait of the USS Maine at sea, with the slogan "Remember the Maine" and the final stylized eagle hook.
Overall Measurements:
25.5-Inches high x 18-Inches wide x 4-Inches deep, Each hook is 3.75-Inches high and deep. The Diamond mirror is. 8-Inches.

Well cared for antique condition, the gilt is not recent and might be original to the piece. Ready to hand and use .
