Antique late 19th Century brass English trivet. Certainly an elegant nod to days gone by and would be a great decorative accent in a kitchen or next to a fireplace keeping plates and dishes warm before serving. Also can be used to hold a kettle or teapot. The top of the piece features two birds perched in a fruit tree and curved cabriole legs.
