About the Item
Beautifully shaped French early Art Deco etagere. These etagères served in the twenties as presentoirs in patisseries and boulangeries in France.
This model is from the early twenties, with high probability from the house "Maison Siegel".
Heavy bronze /brass quality. Very elaborately finished frame. Rare shape. The two shelves are adjustable in height. The upper finish is screwed on. Hammered technique. The two glass shelves were renewed by a specialist.
