About the Item

Mid Century Magazine Stand in Solid Oak. Presumably European, 1960s or 1970s. This is a wonderful and very unusual magazine stand or side table in solid oak. A very decorative free standing piece to store magazines, books or other paperwork. Playful and expressive in design, it will be a true addition to any stylish interior. Highly reminiscent of works by Guillerme et Chambron. Most likely this magazine stand in oak was made in Europe, presumably in France or Belgium. Great use of expressive solid oak. For example, take a look at the edges of the shelves in very attractive end-grain oak. Also the handle and top part of the magazine rack have a very distinct and elegant design. Great vintage condition.
