A very rare 19th Century finely cast brass church lectern. The pierced lectern of rectangular form features a centred cross motif set within a stunning arrangement of richly scrolling foliate. Raised over an elegant brass pole support with gorgeous spiral twist fluted detail and beautiful scroll and flowerhead motifs above trefoil base, terminating on gracefully outplayed leg, inscribed 'Presented to St. Mark's Church Easter 1883'.
