A delightful 19th century Victorian English mahogany lectern hand-crafted in England circa 1860 featuring a tilt top that can be placed at different angles, a well turned and banded base that expands to change the height using an attached simple wooden peg, and an elegant tripod base. The rich brown tone of the wood is accentuated by a beautiful patina seen throughout. In superb condition, this piece has been cleaned and polished with French paste wax and is ready for your immediate use as a lectern, book, or music stand.
