Delightful handcrafted German Mid-Century modern umbrella stand or holder by the Vereinigte Werkstätten (Atelier) München, circa 1955. Handmade in patinated copper with cast brass trim and base, finished with delicate brass flower petal details. Wonderful craftsmanship here - we can see this pairing perfectly with a set of Louis Vuitton travel cases / luggage set - either in a hallway / entrance / foyer or in a bedroom as a walking stick holder.
Quite rare to find - certainly in this lovely original condition - often they have been polished to a shiny copper finish although this was not how they were intended to look.
A high quality, opulent and decadent piece to brighten up your entrance or hallway.
