Found in the South of France, this 19th Century Faux Bamboo Umbrella Stand was crafted in the late 1800's. The piece, also known as "porte parapluie" in French, features a faux bamboo turned wood and is designed to hold six umbrellas or walking sticks. This Umbrella Stand is adorned with finials to add interest, which is typical of the French Aesthetic movment of the late 19th century.
