About the Item
Created in China circa 1950, this large colorful Famille Rose umbrella stand is round in shape and features hand painted medallions with Chinese people in traditional clothing; it is further embellished with floral and foliate motifs on a black background. The porcelain cane or umbrella stand is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns rich colors in the beige, brown, blue and red palette. The stand is further stamped on the underside with red six character marks for further authentication.
