Italian Mid-Century Modern umbrella stand in the style of Alessandro Mendini and Studio Alchimia, circa 1976-1980. The base is composed of carved travertine stone and the 3 containers are in chromed metal. The piece can also serve as a vase or urn. A beautiful circa 1960s vintage Italian umbrella stand by Bucciarelli, signed underneath with 'Bucciarelli Milano Made in Italy' label. Similar to umbrella stands made by Piero Fornasetti, it has been rumored he licensed some of his work to the retailer Bucciarelli however we have not found any confirmation on this so this is listed as 'In the style of' Fornasetti.
