Reinassance Revival Umbrella Stand in Wrought Iron, Spain, 1940s.
Impressive umbrella stand with dragon details coat of arms decoration and red jacquard damask fabric detail.
This umbrella stand or plant stand was handcrafted at the late Art Deco period with Renaissance inspiration and spanish revival taste. It is heavily adorned by the hammer marks thorough. The top is accented by a twisted iron rim and the body has a perforated decoration of a double dragon with a red damask fabric background.
It stands up on three scrolled legs.
Profusely decorated by the hammer marks. It has a terrific aged patina and it is in great vintage condition.
Use it as umbrella and walking sticks stand or planter in any decoration with spanish taste.
Rare find. Entirely made by hand.
