About the Item

Delightful handcrafted and very rare German midcentury umbrella stand or holder by the Vereinigte Werkstätten (Atelier) München, circa 1955. Handmade in off-white / cream enameled metal with cast brass trim and base, finished with delicate brass flower petal details. Wonderful craftsmanship - as good as any French makers such as Maison Jansen or Maison Charles. We can see this pairing perfectly with a set of Louis Vuitton travel cases / luggage set - either in a hallway / entrance / foyer or in a bedroom as a walking stick holder. Rare to find in the white enameled version - more common is the copper version. A high quality, opulent and decadent piece to brighten up your entrance or hallway.
