This antique "porte manteau" was created in Paris circa 1920; made of brass with a beech wood coat holder, the suit Stand sits on a tree curved leg base decorated with acanthus leaf motifs. The stem is further dressed with a round vide-poche in the middle. The top has a coat and pant holder embellished with a decorative handle at the pediment for easy handling.
