Crafted from 19th–early 20th century handwoven Anatolian wool, most likely from the Sivas or Maraş regions of Turkey, these pillow covers feature a rich red and navy striped pattern highlighted with subtle woven accents. The design carries a timeless balance of vibrancy and restraint, reflecting the enduring textile traditions of central Anatolia.
The backs are finished with solid cotton fabric in a warm rust tone, creating a refined harmony of texture and color. This thoughtful pairing of antique wool with cotton backing makes the set versatile and suitable for both traditional and modern interiors.
Recommended insert size: 40 × 40.5 cm (16 × 16"). We recommend using an insert slightly larger than the cover for a full look.
