About the Item
Crafted from antique late 19th-century silk ikat, this pillow radiates intensity through flame-like motifs in crimson, turquoise, violet, and golden yellow. Once part of a robe, the ikat textile has been repurposed into a striking decorative accent, framed with natural linen that sets off the brilliance of the silk without overwhelming it.
The reverse is finished with a fine cotton ticking stripe, offering a quiet counterpoint to the bold rhythm of the ikat front. Together, the composition balances vibrancy with refinement, making this cover equally suited for display or use.
Recommended insert size: 45 × 86 cm (18 × 27 in) to 48 × 71 cm (19 × 28 in). Inserts not included. We recommend using an insert slightly larger than the cover for a full look.
