About the Item
Rose velvet pillow dyed with indigo in Ikat pattern with gray linen backing. Sustainably hand-dyed and sewn in New York City, down pillow insert made locally in NYC. Pillow measures 18 x 18 inches. Each velvet pillow is hand made and one of a kind.
Custom colors and sizes available. Please message to inquire about custom orders.
Each silk velvet pillow is cut and folded by hand, in the shibori style, before it is dyed through a series of indigo dips. To achieve a rich blue color, each is dipped and oxidized several times, before setting, hand-washing and drying.
Note: Invisible zip closure at bottom of pillow. Slight variations may occur within the design. Care Instructions: Spot treat only. Do not dry clean or machine wash.

ROUSSEAU is a bespoke interiors brand based in New York City. Jacqueline Rousseau launched her interiors label after more than a decade designing womenswear in both London and New York City. Jacqueline's love of textiles and bold color shapes the line of hand dyed pillows and table linens. Each piece is custom produced in small batches, and vintage items are thoughtfully sourced to complement the line of soft furnishings. Inspiration comes from vintage paint charts, geometric shapes and cloud patterns.
