About the Item

This is a very decorative cushion or pillow with hand embroidered stylised flowers, which we date to the mid-20th century, circa 1940. The pillow is about 15 inches square. The decoration features beautifully hand embroidered stylised flowers and foliage in many colours including orange, pink, blue, green, brown and yellow all in various shades, all hand stitched onto a plain light beige/stone hessian/linen type fabric. The pillow or cushion has a cushion filler inside with no zip.
