A rectangular bolster pillow, made out of an early 20th century Japanese Silk Obi.
The Obi is the long sash that wraps around a kimono to fasten it to the body, which through history became a symbol of status and a fashion statement, depending on the quality of the materials, and the decorations embroidered in it. The Obi fabric used for this pillow is gold brocade silk, soft and thick, with square raised pattern and floral motifs.
1-inch flange around the edges, with a layer of dark grey silk in between, where the hidden zipper is located. Pillow dimensions: 10" x 32". With flange: 12" x 34"
Includes a brand new insert, shipped along with the cover.
