Based in the Netherlands and India's Uttar Pradesh, Jupe by Jackie is an internationally renowned fashion brand born out of a desire to shine light on the art of hand embroidery: a dying craft in today’s fast-paced fashion industry. The brand is sold in high-end boutiques around the world. Amongst Jupe by Jackie's collaborators are Comme des Garcons; Drakes; Closed, United Arrows. Tomorrowland and Morentz - who all work or have worked intensely with designer Jackie Villevoye, and respect the embroidery as an added value. In 2017, Jupe by Jackie ventured into the world of interior design. The aim is to become a counterweight to mass produced woven and printed fabrics, and re-introduce the strong character of hand embroidery into the modern environment. The celebrated hand work creates a three-dimensional feeling, as the subtle embroidered designs uplifts the base fabric. The collection consists of cushions, poufs, furniture upholsteries and wall hangings.
