Large Indian Silk Brocade Bedspread in Green and Silver
A finely crafted Indian silk brocade bedspread or throw, generously sized and richly woven with intricate foliate and floral motifs in green and gold, highlighted by silver metallic thread throughout. The main field is enclosed by an ornate silver and green brocade border on all sides, giving the piece a balanced and finished composition.
Lined in plain green cotton to the reverse, the textile is of high quality and presents beautifully as a bed cover, large throw, or decorative wall hanging. Originally acquired at significant cost, it remains unused and has been carefully stored, showing only light creasing from folding.
