Rollakan pillow, Sweden, 19th century. Down and feather filling. Very good used condition, according to age. Minimal wear.
This is a lovely piece of 19th-century Scandinavian folk art weaving realized in the kelim technique or flat-weave wool. It has a vibrant and varied palette of light green against a vivid red background on one side and orange red on the other.
