About the Item
This elegant pair of vintage decorative pillows showcases exquisite craftsmanship and refined materials. Crafted circa 1980, each pillow is square in shape and made with antique silk fabric in a pale silver celadon hue, adorned with embroidered floral damask motifs in a complementary ivory tone. The rich jacquard-style pattern is both subtle and sophisticated, lending a formal touch suitable for traditional or antique-inspired interiors. The pillows are framed with ornate fringe trim and delicate tassels in gold, green and silver tones, enhancing their texture and adding a touch of opulence. The reverse side is covered in a neutral velvet and features three fabric-covered buttons for closure, echoing the refined aesthetic of the front. In very good condition commensurate with age and use, these vintage French pillows are ideal for dressing up a settee, fauteuil, or bed, bringing luxurious texture and historic charm to any setting.
