About the Item
The front of each pillow features a finely embroidered panel from an early 20th-century Ottoman ceremonial towel, hand-crafted in silk with silk and metallic thread embroidery. The design showcases stylized floral motifs in gold, crimson, and blue, emblematic of Ottoman decorative art. The embroidered textile is paired with cotton on the lower half, balancing texture and sheen with refined simplicity.
The back is made from handwoven silk-on-cotton fabric in a soft ivory tone, providing a luminous complement to the ornate front. Elegant and timeless, this pair unites Ottoman craftsmanship and contemporary design sensibility.
Recommended pillow insert size is from 43x35cm (17x14") to 46x38cm (18x15"). We recommend the insert slightly be bigger than the cover for a full look.
