About the Item
This hand-crafted pillow was designed by a local Chicago artist and textile historian who lovingly repurposes the vintage fabrics, garments and embroidery fragments she collects during her travels. This petite, down-filled pillow is sewn in off-white linen and appliquéd with a fragment of vintage French embroidery. Hand-stitched with richly colored threads of crème, gold and purple, the embroidery has an intricate design of paisley with botanical flourishes and a scalloped edge with corded fringe.
Some wear to embroidery silk.
