About the Item
Handcrafted fox fur throw, produced in 2012 by the Irish furriers J.M. Barnardo
Son. The throw/blanket is composed of eight crystal fox fur pelts, selected for uniformity of quality, density, and texture. Each pelt is dense and thick, with a consistent, silky guard hair layer. The fur displays a balanced variation of blonde and warm chestnut undercoat, contrasted by darker guard hairs which create depth and natural lustre.
The throw is fully lined in black silk and hand-stitched throughout. The pile reaches approximately 10 cm in height, contributing to both volume and softness.
Condition: good, with minor moulting to the guard hairs and one small area of bruising to the fur, both consistent with age and use. Measures 150 cm x 150 cm.
