An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver fruit serving set, boxed, an addition to our dining silverware collection.
This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver fruit serving set consists of a pair of fruit serving / berry spoons and a pair of grape shears.
Each piece has exceptional scrolling leaf decorated handles, accented with paralleling incurved borders, in addition to bright cut engraved geometric detailing.
The posterior surface of each piece is plain and unembellished.
The serving/berry spoons have elongated, rounded bowls embellished with exceptional chased floral and scrilling leaf ornamentation amidst bead borders; the outer rim of each spoon has a crimped finish.
The interior of each silver spoon bowl retains the original gilding.
The fine pair of antique Victorian sterling silver grape shears has a hinged scissor action.
The handles of the grape scissors reflect the identical ornamentation of that to the spoons, in addition to bright cut engraved rounded fingerpieces.

These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver salad servers have an oval rounded bowl onto an elongated stem.
The anterior and reverse surface of each piece is plain and unembellished; the heel of each piece is embellished with a circular rivet.
The bowl of the serving fork incorporates five-shaped tines.
These exceptional examples of silver flatware are fitted with impressive green colored cut glass handles with a hobnail style ornamentation to the bulbous handpiece.
The hallmarked sterling silver ferrule of each server is encircled with bands of tooled decoration.

The rug has a cream or pale yellow field and border color with curvilinear designs in red, black, and brown colors throughout. The village Lavar is near the city of Kerman on the edge of the great desert in South East Persia. The Kerman Lavar carpets are world-renowned for their beauty in design and colors used which this carpet well represents. The carpet still retains its beauty after over 120 years of use.
