Antique Shirvan Kuba Rug 2'7'' x 3'4''. The deep wine red field presents three ragged cogwheel ellipses in ecru, powder, straw and red, seconded by petal palmettes and little rosettes. The main ecru border shows a balanced “crab” design, with flanking rosette-pattern minors. Medium weave. West Caspian village work. On wool. Good condition.
