Over a year in design, “Fearful Symmetry” is a particularly Southern California expression. Liesel painted more than a dozen American botanicals. One seems to be peering through the blades of palm fronds and over broad leaves and ginger stems. “Fearful Symmetry” evokes a lush landscape rendered in current, top colors.
