By exploring and shifting the boundaries of both colour and material, the duo develops amongst other interior objects, rugs, and tapestries. Design that meets the creativity of the renowned labels they collaborate with — or to enrich and expand their exclusive collection.
The Moooi brand has always been about bringing additional beauty to our lives by decorating our homes, offices, hotel rooms and restaurants with iconic and innovative pieces of furniture and lighting. In 2015 Moooi introduced Moooi Carpets as part of the Moooi collection, to make your environment even more beautiful, exciting an inspiring. Moooi Carpets offers a rich and refined carpet collection with an extensive assembly of unique, iconic and breathtaking designs. Next to a variety of Signature Rugs and broadlooms we present instruments that have been implemented to facilitate the realisation of individual requirements. With our Rug and broadloom collection we offer you a wide range of carpets for all tastes, from signature creations by renowned names of the design world to customizable solutions ideal to finish off an interior environment in style. The existing designs and customizing possibilities open a world of opportunities.
Extraordinary colours are the hallmark of these rug designs by Studio RENS. Their unique patterns came to life through layered printing of the same colour with subtle differences in saturation and intensity. All two designs are part of Studio RENS’ ongoing research into the endless possibilities of colouring, mixing, and matching. A remarkable result of a process inspired by Riso techniques, thanks to the outstanding skills and knowhow of Moooi Carpets.
