About the Item
Based on an original Asmara painting by Russian theatre artist Ludmila Slavinsky who imbued an Empire Aubusson design with the drama of a set for the Bolshoi Ballet. Made with ancient French Aubusson dyeing and weaving methods, this handwoven Aubusson flat-weave rug has thousands of subtle color shades, similar to antique Aubusson rugs. Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA. Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Used with a pad this rug helps to keep rooms warm in winter, cool in summer and dampen urban noise. Measures: 14' x 19'8".
