About the Item

Hand-knotted in wool and all-natural silk, this 4×4 square rug is a new addition to the Mid-Century Modern rug collection by Rug Kilim. This collection is the first major representation of varied 1950s post-modern styles in luxury rugs with a new approach to large scale, graph, refined texture, and color like this piece. Further on the Design: Floating pictorial fish patterns in charming red and pink swim over the background of silver gray, a subtle blue accent further complementing the picturesque scene with the aid of the silk’s natural sheen. This is a smart marriage of joyful color and pattern embodying comfort and whimsy few mid-century modern rugs of this versatile square size enjoy.
