This antique, circa 1900, Karabagh runner has a tomato-red field scattered with delicate flowering vine and perching birds around a column of linked large charcoal-grey roundels each with a polychrome bouquet of large flowering sprays and leaves, in an ice-blue ribbon-motif border between minor charcoal-grey and tomato-red plain stripes.
