Caucasus Kazak rug with hooked medallions The geometric design of the South Caucasus region, incorporating the distinctive hooked medallion typical of the Kazak design. Rust red ground with a large central medallion in the form of a bird, 7 floral medallions to each end. Good uniform colour, a small area of the binding a little rubbed to the left edge and the fringe is non uniform. Caucasus, mid 20th century.
